How does solar thermal energy work
When the sun radiates energy, the panels receives this energy and transforms the energy into heat. The panels will quickly get a temperature that is significantly higher than the temperature in the heat store where the water is circulated from. We have in cooperation with German RESOL developed a special controller to ensure that the refrigerant (water) circulates as soon as there is energy to receive from the panels.
We use drain back in all applications.
This means that the refrigerant (water) is drained back into a tank when the panels are not in operation.
The system is designed so that when the sun helps with sufficient energy, the system control will start operation of a circulation pump. The clean water is circulated into the panels untill there is no energy to receive. When the circulation stops, the water in the circulation circuit is drained back to the store.
Our unique patent makes it possible to use pure water, and polymers in the application.
