Solar Heat eXchanger
The solar thermal panels / collectors can offer:

The construction enables circulation of pure water through the panels, which provides a heat capacity of 1.16 W/m2/K or 30% higher efficiency in the cooling medium than is the case for glycol.
Water circulates depressurized through channels and is effectively heated by the transfer of solar energy.
The prefabricated cassettes are assembled on the wall or roof by means of mounting rails.
We produce standard sizes in 2000, 3000, 4000 and 6000 mm. We can also produce custom sizes to your needs.
System Controller
The solar system controller is particularly suited to the technology and system design used in our solar thermal energy applications.
The system controller calculates the energy to retrieve from the panels and starts operation of the circulation pump so that water circulates as long as there is energy to retrieve.
At low temperatures or at night, when there are not enough energy or danger of frost, the system controller stops the circulation pump and the water is drained out of the panels. This also appear if the panel temperatures are up to the boiling point.
The solar system controller is developed in close cooperation with RESOL who is leading the development of such automation in the world. The system controller ensures smooth and optimal circulation in the panels.
DrainBack Storage
When using a pressurized heat store you must use a drain tank that holds the water to circulate into the panels. The water will flow back into the drain tank when the circulation stopps.
The drain tank is a small tank containing approx. 3.5 liters of water for each square meter of panel installed. The drain tank should be placed as close to the panels as possible in a frost-free place.

Heat Storage with Coil
Solar thermal system allows you to use several types of heat store depending on your needs.

Pressurized heat store:
In this case, the pressurized water flow through the heat store and the tap water is preheat from the solar circuit. The water from the solar circuit flow through a pipe heat exchanger which transfers the heat from the solar circuit to the heat store.It is also possible to insert a separate pipe heat exchanger to transfer heat for space heating. -
None pressurized heat storage:
In this case, pressurized water flow through a large pipe heat exchanger so that the water will be preheated. The solar circuit, circulate water from the solar collector into the heat storage and back to the solar collectors.
The heat stores will achieve high temperatures and they should be well insulated.
The dimmention of heat storage should be between 50-100 liters / m2 of panels. 50 liters provide a low investment, while 100 liters allow higher energy yield and lower costs per KWh over time.

It is also possible to use other types of heat stores made in plastic, concrete, with PCM or in the form of storage in a borehole.
